Great video and new sub. I was on the original Easter egg on COD WW. My kids started on the original zombies and are now almost adult gamers. I still play the OG maps on my series S. It shows what a damn good job Treyarch did for a game they made for fun. I agree. They haven’t got the original zombies feel which is shocking considering how absolutely basic the game play was. An example of over engineering a classic that didn’t need it at all. I would love to see the old game style but with fun new maps with next gen aesthetics. But WITHOUT the stupid HUD and pointless missions. The OG games had a massive MP community and I am sure still would. Hell, they are still players lobbies on the remastered OG maps!

As someone who started playing zombies from WaW. I can whole heartedly agree classic all the way!!! With the story, the unique weapons, characters, etc! I think the last great zombies was Bo3. Hopefully Bo6 round based is better!

I was 4 when halo ce came out. my mom bought an og xbox and Halo for my dad for valentines day. I genuinely had no idea at the time, but that was the start of so, si many memories. decades of fun with my cousin and not yet born brother at the time. So much laughter in custom games, machinimas, anoj top 10's. Halo wasnt just a video game, it genuinely is a pillar of my childhood. It was a beautiful experience, and i will love and cherish it til i am gone.

I agree on the immersion being broken by silly character cameos and outfits making it all seem ridiculous, however the gameplay is still fast paced chaos and is still solid enough to have fun running around blasting fools online.

Dude, I don’t know how but if I were to try talking on the mic in something like cod or halo, there’s literally nobody in the lobby talking. You’d be lucky if you actually get one or two people talking but, then they be all mumbling and and be all like, “ya” “mhm” “yup”.

This is a very based take. I enjoyed cold war zombies but there's no competing with classic. One can hope that they listen to the community and revert some of those changes in future games but at least we have the older games to hold us.

Modern gaming from big companies is just there to look flashy and have no substance but try to be addicting through 'satisfying' elements to keep people without a brain hooked. We can thank smartphones for that.

Halo wasn't perfect. The multiplayer was always incredibly unbalanced.

Zombies used to be fight or die, there was nowhere to run, you fought as hard and long as you could, before the never-ending hordes overcame you and your vigour slipped away and you succumb to the horde of the undead. The weaker weapons of the older games, gave that impending doom that at some point your weapons became useless, every move had jeopardy, this slowly became eroded. B03 was the first to do that, but I don't think BO3 was bad, in fact I absolutely loved BO3 - it just removed the fear from serving the hordes. Later games really ended Zombies at its core. They need to bring back the fear factor.

I was pretty much addicted to Halo 3 during the summers of 2009 and 2010. I'd wake up at 9am, play Halo 3 till 10pm, sleep, and do it all again. So many great memories online. I could look at anywhere on any map, and remember something cool/funny that happened there. In 2011, I graduated high school and started college. Had to focus on school, met my best friends at college (most of whom didn't play games), and just didn't think about Xbox anymore. To this day, I actually haven't played Halo (or Xbox) since 2011. But a few years ago, I looked up my old gamertag on their Halo community site and was surprised they recorded all my play data. Seeing that, all the memories flooded back to me. Halo 3 was the very last thing my brothers and I bonded over before drifting apart. Throughout childhood, we were all super close. Now, we barely even talk to each other. Halo 3 was the final thing we all did together as siblings. It's sad because at one point in my life, Halo 3 was my entire world. Now it's become just a distant memory of the past. Honestly, I don't really miss it because my life now is actually better than it was back then. But I am definitely thankful for all the fond memories I had with it.

MW2's campgain changed my life back in 2010 (i didnt play it when it came out) i always liked CoD campgains WaW was a extremly good one, also loved CoD 2 Big Red One on the ps2 played Cod 3, CoD 4, CoD WaW Final Fronts on the ps2, BO, MW3 and BO II all the way through but didn't love those as much.
